Keep a replacement pump on the shelf and a worn Water Rippler pump becomes a swap you can do yourself the day it fails, not days of waiting on a shipment while ice gets a head start on the tank. The pump is the only wear item on the unit. When it stops, the water stops moving with it. This kit has the 12V DC pump and every part needed to fit it.
Every Water Rippler ships fully assembled with its 12V DC pump mounted to the 12" x 12" HDPE body (that size includes the mounted pump). This kit replaces that pump. The connection tubing hooks the new pump to the unit, two waterproof wire nuts make the electrical connections, and a full screw set and gasket are included.
Wiring instructions walk you through the swap step by step, so you do not have to trace the old wiring yourself.
This part fits all three Water Rippler models. They share the same body, pump and caps and differ only in how they are powered.

| What you see | Check first | Part |
|---|---|---|
| Flow has dropped | Flush the screen in the water or clean it by hand | If it no longer cleans up: Replacement Filter |
| Water stopped, power is good, screen is clean | Confirm power at the outlet or battery | Spare Pump Kit |
| The cord will not reach the outlet or battery | The unit ships with a 6 ft cord | 10 Foot Extension Cord, 16 ft total |
The kit fits all three Water Rippler models: Electric, Solar and Dual Power. The manufacturer's contents list does not include a filter screen. If the screen on your old pump is torn or clogged past cleaning, add a Replacement Filter to the order. A clean screen keeps debris out of the new pump from day one.
A few habits make the new pump last. Keep at least 12 inches of water in the tank, because running dry shortens pump life and is not covered by warranty. Dirty water and hard-water buildup also wear a pump out. If you see mineral scale on the pump, soak it in a 30% vinegar solution. When the season ends, pull the unit from the tank and store it clean and dry.
The manufacturer's published pump warranty is 45 days against defects. Misuse, improper installation or modification, running dry, mineral deposits, corrosion and normal wear are not covered, so follow the included instructions and keep the water level up. The kit ships direct from the manufacturer in 3 to 5 business days.
