Keep the tank where the animals drink, not where the outlet is. This 10 ft extension cord adds reach between your Water Rippler and its power connection. Every Water Rippler ships with a 6 ft power cord, and 6 ft is not always enough when the outlet is on the barn wall or the battery sits at the fence line. With the extension in place you have 16 ft from the unit to the converter or solar cable.
One end plugs into the Water Rippler's own 6 ft cord. The other plugs into the power side of your setup. On the Electric model that is the outdoor-rated AC/DC converter that goes to a 120V outlet. On the Solar model it is the 15 ft solar cable with ring terminals that runs to your 12V battery. The Dual Power model ships with both the converter and the solar cable, so the extension works either way.
Because it sits between the unit and the converter, the extension carries 12V DC. It is not meant for the run between the converter and the wall outlet.
This part fits all three Water Rippler models. They share the same body, pump and caps and differ only in how they are powered.

One black 10 ft extension cord with a connector on each end. The converter, the solar cable and the unit itself are not included. Those come with the Water Rippler you already own.
| What you see | Check first | Part |
|---|---|---|
| Flow has dropped | Flush the screen in the water or clean it by hand | If it no longer cleans up: Replacement Filter |
| Water stopped, power is good, screen is clean | Confirm power at the outlet or battery | Spare Pump Kit |
| The cord will not reach the outlet or battery | The unit ships with a 6 ft cord | 10 Foot Extension Cord, 16 ft total |
This cord only covers the unit side of the converter. If you need more length on the household side as well, the manufacturer says the converter can be connected to a 12-gauge, outdoor-rated extension cord, and it recommends a GFCI-protected outlet.
Each Water Rippler has its own 6 ft cord and its own power connection, so plan one extension for every unit that needs the extra reach. That matters on tanks over 500 gallons, where the manufacturer calls for two units. Like the rest of the Water Rippler line, the extension ships direct from the manufacturer.
